Frequently Asked Questions

01. How far in advance should I book?

For sessions, I recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance. For weddings and elopements, I recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for popular dates and weekends. Availability can fill quickly during spring, summer, and fall.

02. How would you describe your photography style?

My style is a blend of documentary storytelling and gentle, natural direction. I love capturing the moments that happen naturally—the laughter, the little glances, the movement, and everything in between—while also giving you some guidance when you need it.

03. What is required to secure my date?

A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is due on or before your session or wedding date.

04. What happens if the weather is bad?

Colorado weather can be unpredictable! If the weather is unfavorable on the day of your shoot, I’ll work with you to find alternative locations or indoor setups if needed. I also think embracing a bit of rain can add so much character to a shoot! My goal is to capture beautiful moments regardless of the weather.

Absolutely! I value your vision and input. I encourage you to share any specific shots, styles, or inspiration you love, especially for weddings. We’ll work together to make sure we capture the moments that mean the most to you while still leaving room for the genuine, unexpected moments to unfold.

6. We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

Yes! You don’t need to know how to pose or be “good” in front of a camera. I’ll give you simple direction and prompts that help you interact naturally, rather than expecting you to perform for the camera.

07. Do you travel?

Yes! I’m based in Colorado and love exploring new places. I’m happy to travel for sessions, weddings, and elopements. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

08. When will we receive our photos?

I believe in quality over quantity, so you’ll receive a curated selection of the best images captured during your experience. Each photo is professionally edited to create a collection that truly reflects you. Portrait and lifestyle galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, while wedding galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks.
